Yesterday my brother and I went to the lake, we made sure to launch away from everyone. Upon arriving all we see are coucher`s (people who ride sit down jetskis) breaking the law and driving crazy! (Going 20+mph within 10ft of shore, pulling people w/no spotter and turned around constantly, etc.)
One of the first modifications people do to their new personal watercraft and in my case my new to me yamaha superjet is replace the intake grate and the rideplate. This post will outline the differences visually between the WORX intake grate and the protec intake grate, and the OEM Yamaha Superjet intake grate.
I figured it would be a good idea to take a picture of how I currently take my yamaha superjet to the lake.
So! I got the video footage of me jumping my superjet while on my houseboat vacation! This means I could start generating pictures since my camera card died with all my superjet action pictures!
I’ve had these pictures of my new Yamaha SuperJet for a while and decided it was time to post them up.
Well after a couple weeks and a bit of a worry my Skat-Trak 12/17 3mm cutback, balanced and race finish impeller arrived!
Well I took the new superjet to the lake again yesterday but this time I had my camera and got a few pictures of the new beast!
So, after purchasing my new to me 1990 Yamaha SuperJet w/lots of modifications including engine work
I needed to re-work the hood air tubes because the dual carbs do not allow for the tube to work, and someone had removed the other tube as well. So, without tubes the water splashed right ON TOP the carb and woud cause some serious water ingestion problems.
I met with the seller and we worked on a price we were both happy with and I purchased the modified 1990 yamaha superjet.
I went to lake Oroville Houseboating this year and took my new standup jetski! Or should I say my awesome Yamaha SuperJET!
